In late summer/early autumn take a lovely walk with the family, pick some blackberries and make some nice goodies at home.
No car emissions, bit of exercise, no carbon footprint from transporting food, and no pesticides used to grow the food.

So many simple green things you can do, but the simplest of all is breastfeeding your baby.
That being said because it was too obvious I will share some of my other green tips.
Our kids love helping plant the vegetables. Never too early for them to start being self sufficient. Their favourite job is filling the watering cans from the water butt.
They also help Mummy with the recycling by helping washing the bottles and jars. An afternoon of water play, fun, helping mummy and being green all at the same time

Stock up on cheap face flannels from the pound shop and use as reusable wet wipes. Use and drop them into the nappy bucket when dirty.
Use soapnuts instead of washing liquid and white vinegar instead of fabric softner.

Nothing greener or prettier than a line of cloth nappies in the garden drying!

Go vegetarian, or at least cut red meat out and certain fish which are not as sustainable as others.

cloth bumming is great but elimination communication is brilliant also, even just a little bit of bare bum time a day can save some nappy changes. x

Sharing the bath with your baby. No need for complicated safety seats when they are in your lap splashing away happily. Less water used and some nice bonding time too.
