Breastfeeding Support

www.kellymom.com

A wonderful resource of evidence-based information on breastfeeding, sleep and parenting. It's a huge but easy to navigate site with useful articles about medicines and herbs that are safe to take when breastfeeding, nursing strikes, constant feeding....it has never let me down!

www.breastfeedingsupport.co.uk

The Breastfeeding Support Site has loads of information for mums and mums to be. There are relactation stories, tips about breastfeeding twins and a good list of frequently asked questions including information about breastfeeding with pierced nipples and after a breast reduction. They are looking for more stories too so if you have a tale to tell, here is the place.

www.iwantmymum.com

This website is run by working mothers who breast feed their toddlers. The site ideology is that an informed choice is a happy choice and it publishes up to date research relevent to all areas of parenting including; sleep, vaccinations, starting solids etc, so that parents can make a decision based on the latest findings. It promotes sensitivity towards the needs of the baby, whilst also realising that a gentle routine based around your babys cues can be enormously beneficial.

They also sell hand carry round cards that list the laws pertaining to the sale, advertising and marketing of infant formula. They cost £1.50 and any profits will be split for donation between the ABM and the LLL on a 6 monthly basis.
