The DBM project is undertaking some research into the reasons why mothers feed the way they do…
We are interested in how you feed, why you do it the way you do, what (if any) difficulties you experienced and the factors which helped or hindered you in overcoming them.
We’re also very keen to hear from formula feeding mothers to learn why they chose/ made the switch to formula milk and how they feel about formula feeding.
We know that some mothers choose to formula feed from the outset, but many end up doing so for a variety of other reasons – we want to become better informed about the factors which contribute to their decisions.
This survey is not intended to be critical of mothers (the wording attempts to avoid this), but it’s aim is to help us better understand the trends that exist behind the individual stories. The survey will run until the 31st October 2010.
